Amazon has evolved from an online bookseller to an online seller of just about everything. Recently they have even started to deliver fresh groceries in some urban markets. One of the keys to Amazon's success is their excellent distribution strategy. Amazon just announced that they plan to offer Sunday delivery in the near future, and they are looking to add 30 minute drone delivery sometime after 2015. ReplyDeleteI think the key to their growth is the fact that they sell all types of products. I think they will just become more popular as they add sunday delivery and more products. Their distribution strategy is most important because people like getting things fast so if they slow down then they wont be as interested anymore. Consumers will be excited about sunday delivery because it will get them their items faster. I think drones are a bad idea because they could get bugged up or broken.

ReplyDeleteI would like Sunday delivery because if I need something on a certain day, I'd like it to be here earlier than what the deliever date tells me. Amazon will be successful in the future. They have many ideas that everyone will love. The drone delivery will make it easier for people that need something that are closer to the distribution center and need it at a faster pace.

ReplyDeleteI think that they are doing a great job, I don't think that customers really care about what kind of transportation it is, all they care about is how long it takes to get there. If they can get the drone to work to where it only takes 30 minutes that would be the next big innovation in shipping products, but I'm assuming you would have to live close to a warehouse. They should work on something more to make it faster for people who don't live close to a warehouse center. But overall Amazon is making great improvements and customers should be happy.
I think the key to Amazon's growth is that more people know about Amazon. When people knew that Amazon wasn't only selling books, they would check out what they do have. The people would post good reviews about Amazon, so then others would want to order off of Amazon. I think they will be successful in the future because they are continuing to grow and expand. There distribution is very important to Amazon because that is part of their reputation. Consumers should be excited about Sunday delivery because then they could get their orders any day of the week. I think the drone is a good idea but before it lands someone should watch it and make sure it doesn't hit anybody or anything.
ReplyDeleteI think the fact that they could, but don't, raise their prices is what's helping them stay a customer favorite. I believe they will definitely be successful in the future. I like that they are trying new things in distributing. Consumers will love Sunday delivery because you get your products that much faster and the idea and reality of drones is very cool. But what if your dog attacked it? Or your 8 year old throws a baseball at it? Will it be able to handle the damage? Those are my concerns.

I feel that amazon will continue to grow over time as long as they continue to be innovative. The more they change things, the longer their company will last. Their distribution strategy is great, I believe they have one of the best distribution strategy's of all current online sellers. Having Sunday shipping will attract a lot of attention, and for the people who live near an amazon distribution center, they will be excited for the 30 minute shipping when the drones are completed! This will change the way items are shipped to you! Shipping times will be faster, and much better!

More people will go online and check out what everyone is talking about. Yes, I do feel that they will continue to be successful in the future. If so many people are talking about them now and more people are interested in it they will continue to stay known. If Amazon also makes newer delivery systems then they will continue to be successful in the days to come. Their distribution strategy to their success is very important because if the customers get their packages delivered slower then they might get annoyed and go to a different company. Yes, I think consumers will be excited about Sunday delivery. That is an extra day that you can get packages instead of waiting until the next business day. The delivery by drone will be a great success I think. The consumers will be excited about a new product and will want to try it out. I could see that happening in the future.

I also beilve that their philosphy of not raising prices even though they could is a major factor to keep a good costomer rating and trust which allows them to grow. I feel that Amazon will be successful for years to come. Their distrubution statagy is wildly important. They come up with new innovations and that keeps a good costomer base. I think consumers will be very excited for the drones because people really like fast deilveries expeshily 30 mimute ones. I think alot of companies have Sunday delivery so consumers wont be as excited about Amazons Sunday delivery, but they will still need to use it to be competative in the market.

If they continue to deliver items quickly and efficiently they will have a successful future and will be able to stay a company for a long time. With them being able to sell almost anything at a very quick speed they are big competition to other big company how can't deliver in that quick of time. I know I wouldn't be excited about it but some people will be happy about the delivery on Sunday, I wont because I just don't care and can wait. The drone is a great idea if it works properly and doesn't screw up the orders.

I feel that they will be successful in the future because they have grown to selling groceries and they sell things at a really low price compared to other places. Their distribution strategy is important to their success because the faster their customers recieve the product they bought the happier they will be. I think most of the consumers will be happy with the Sunday delivery but I feel that those delivering on Sundays won't be to happy because Sunday is kind of family day. I believe that delivery by drone could become a very popular and good thing to have because it would save the delivery man or woman time going to buildings or homes near by and give them more time to get the deliveries that are farther away delivered.

I feel they will stellar in the business world even more than they are now. i think its very important to have a good delivery and quick delivery and that's exactly what Amazon is doing and they are doing it very well. I think Amazon's key to success is there wide variety of products they sell and how they have quick delivery. I think that amazon will continue to be successful in the future because of their low prices and because they keep on changing the way they ship things out to their customers. They will continue to be successful in the future if they continue to do what they are doing. Their distribution strategy is important to their success, but not the only factor that is helping them thrive. The main factor is their low prices. I think Sunday delivery will be somewhat a success, but it will not be as miraculous as they are hyping it up to be. The drone delivery will be a huge step in delivering packages. It will affect all of the package distribution companies by eradicating them.
I believe the key to their growth is how fast they can get their products out to customers, and the range of products they have available to customers. I also, believe that if they don't keep u[ with demands of customers for fast delivery and more products, then it will send them spiraling down the drain. As long as they keep trying to improve with their service, they should be successful. It is extremely important to have a good distribution strategy, because customers expectations have gotten higher. A few years ago, people would expect to wait 6-7 weeks for a package they ordered online, now they complain to the company if it is not at their door step within 7 days of thier order. Sunday delivery, I think, is going to be a very big thing for amazon, it will put them ahead of their competitors and make customers happy with their high expectations of a short delivery time. The drones however, freaking me out a little bit... if you saw one of them flying around your neighborhood, it would be really strange. Although they are a ways away from using the drones, it might be big in larger areas.

Yes, I think they will continue be successful, because of how much they care about their customers and take care of them. I think that distribution is a huge part of their company because if one day their truck drivers didn't show up then they would probably get complaints from the people that expected their items to show up today. I think customers will be excited for Sunday delivery because that's one day left they have to wait. I'm not for sure yet if customers will be excited or worried about that. If people have kids and they're outside running around the bot could hit one of the kids so that is a possible downside.

I believe that they will remain one of the biggest online franchise/store for a long time (another decade or two). however something, somewhere, will eventually take over and it may exist already and they haven't expanded yet, or it will start in the near future. Distribution is vary important in an online store. Amazon is trying different things like Sunday delivery, and the future drone Delivery system. The Sunday delivery seems like a good idea for people who want their product delivered sooner but we will have to see how it works for them. As for delivery by drone... there are too many problems. They cant deliver in bad or windy weather, they are vulnerable to vandalism, someone can take your package, you have to live near a distribution center to even use this system of delivery, the item(s) have to be small, etc. If they do plan to implement this, i hope they consider everything.

I feel if this does work they will continue to be successful, but they will have to continue to have new ideas for the people. I think that the distribution strategy is key to their success because its how the mail gets there fast and safe. If the distribution strategy was fast but not safe I think people would just keep it safe and use the old way. I think that consumers will be very excited about Sunday delivery, but any more the most exciting thing in the mail is bills so maybe not. I think the delivery by drone will be very successful as long as it is safe for the package and as quick as they say it is. And also as long as the price does not go way up because if it does I do not think the people will invest in it.
The key to Amazon's success is quick distribution and lowest prices you can find. I feel that. Yes, I do but I also believe that another company like amazon will open and take some Amazon's business and stunt their growth. Their distribution process is the key to their success because it keeps their customers satisfied and to keep them coming back. I don't think customers will be that excited about Sunday delivery because Sunday is the day of rest and time to spend with family not delivering packages. I am worried about Drone delivery because of all the risk that it entails.

I believe that Amazon will continue to be successful in the future. The company is very profitable and I believe it will continue to grow. Their distribution strategy is very important to their success because that is one of the main reasons that online businesses get bad publicity because of their slow delivery times. Amazon's delivery has always been fast and now they are constantly changing distribution methods to make the delivery faster. I believe that the customers will be excited about the Sunday delivery because now, the customers don't have to wait until Monday, when one delivery company will deliver on Sunday. I also believe that the Delivery Drone is a good idea as well because now, the customers within a 10 mile radius of one of Amazon's distribution centers. The customers will get their items in 30 minutes or less which will make customers very happy.
